Easy, intermediate, or advanced trail options to be determined by troop experience level.
Minimum of 8 scouts are required in addition to the requested number of chaperones.

Hiking Adventure I
Daisies (Grades K-1) / Brownies (Grades 2-3) Cub Scouts (Grades K-3) The Hiking Adventure I is a 2-hour hiking experience. It’s the perfect introduction to hiking! Scouts learn the safety essentials needed to enjoy hiking and navigate their journey with a map. We will then hit the trail, utilizing our map skills to follow trail blazes, and enjoy our walk through nature. Hiking Adventure II Juniors (Grades 4-5) Cub/Boy Scouts (Grades 4-5) Hiking Adventure II is a 3-hour hiking experience. With the safety essentials needed to enjoy hiking, and a beginner lesson in compass use, scouts hit the trail, using their navigational skills to follow trail blazes, and enjoy their walk through nature. Time for a picnic lunch, brought by the troop, is included. |
Hiking Adventure III
Cadettes (Grades 6-8) / Ambassadors (Grades 10-12) Boy Scouts (Grades 6-12) The Hiking Adventure III is a 4-hour hiking experience. With all the safety essentials needed to enjoy hiking, and a beginner lesson in compass use, scouts hit the trail, using their navigational skills to follow the trail blazes, and enjoy their walk through nature. Along our journey we’ll do our part to protect the world we we are part of. Please bring gloves if you would like to participate in the clean up. This hiking experience includes time for a picnic lunch, brought by your troop. |
