INTRO TO HIKING THE HUDSON HIGHLANDS $40
Approximately 3+ hour, 6 mile, with 1,200 feet of ascent.
COLD SPRING: 2024 Fall/Winter dates coming soon!
By way of walking and hiking a series of distances, ascents, descents, and ultimately some short scrambles we can assist you in determining your current hiking exertion and comfort zone. If you feel the need to use the “safe word” during this experience, we will then switch modes and focus on less challenging options from that point forward to complete the rest of the program. This tour allows us to identify what level of exertion and technical difficulty is most conducive to an enjoyable experience for you.
As we move along the trail, we can share our own hiking practices, what we pack and why, clothing and gear recommendations, as well as weather, and safety and trail considerations. We will be able to recommend other hikes in the Hudson Highlands and greater Hudson Valley that are appropriate for you. Whether that is on your own or with us.
